Over the years of serving Austin designers, we’ve learned that great service makes for really great design.

We’re not just a showroom, we’re deeply embedded in supporting designers working to transform Austin (and beyond!).

AN AUSTIN INSTITUTION

For more than three decades, the Caffrey family name has been part of the home furnishings world in Austin, supporting the designers, homes, and creative relationships that shape our beautiful city.

Today, that legacy lives on through Caffrey & Co., a trade-only showroom built around a simple belief: great design is never created alone but through trusted collaboration.

A cozy living room corner with a houndstooth armchair, a side table with a lamp, a patterned pillow on an adjacent sofa, and a mural on the wall celebrating 30 years of cheer and festivities.

Over the years, we’ve grown within Austin’s design community, not just through the work we do inside the showroom, but through the ways we continue to show up for the industry around us. Our business has been shaped by our treasured designer relationships, a commitment to education through CEUs and Lunch & Learns, active participation in events like the Tribeza Interiors Tour, and ongoing support of independent and emerging designers.

Our commitment in helping great design happen in Austin means directly supporting our community working so passionately to create it.

As the industry has changed, Caffrey & Co. has evolved with it, all while staying rooted in the values that built our reputation in the first place: trust, service, expertise, and thoughtful support.

Today, we stand not just as a trade showroom, but as part of the design infrastructure of Austin itself: a place designers turn to for upholstery made the way they want it, a selection of exceptionally well-made home furnishings, and the kind of behind-the-scenes partnership that helps projects move forward with greater confidence and less stress.

A woman sitting on a mauve sofa with a pillow, wearing a dark blue dress and brown heels, has blonde hair and is smiling. Behind her, a man with short brown hair and a light blue shirt stands in front of a fabric display with various colors, and a large wooden-framed mirror is on the wall to the left.

Behind the table is a built-in wall shelf displaying various chairs in neutral tones and different styles, with a large modern chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

We’re proud to offer so many beautiful collections throughout the showroom, but to be honest, our real product is excellent service. We exist to make the designer’s job easier.

We’re proud of our history and even more excited for what’s ahead.

How we prioritize community in everything we do.

We are proud to support local education, design organizations, community partners, and industry resources that strengthen the creative community we serve.

From our support of the local American Society of Interior Designers chapter, to the Sustainable Furnishings Council, the Austin Ed Fund, and the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, our involvement reflects a simple idea: the stronger our community is, the better we can support the designers shaping it.

We also stay closely connected to the wider furnishings world by attending local, national, and international industry trade events including High Point Market, Maison&Objet in Paris, Round Top Antiques, Dallas Market Center, bringing fresh ideas, trusted relationships, and deeper product knowledge back to our design community in Austin.
